You should allow at least half an hour for a tour of the Alpine Game Park. The tour begins at Berghaus Pfänder with the children's favourites: the pygmy goats, rabbits and pot-bellied pigs.

Right after the mountain station you reach the starting point of your tour, which you can of course also enjoy in the opposite direction.

Right next door you can watch a herd of ibex performing their climbing skills. A little further on we meet the wild boars, the ancestors of our domestic pigs. Next to appear is the mouflon deer. You can recognise the mouflon rams by their curved horns. The most extensive enclosure is home to a proud herd of red deer. In October, the deer roar loudly during the rutting season.

Finally, we visit the inhabitants of the last enclosure, the marmots. They hibernate in their extensive cave system from mid-October to mid-March.

Hungry and thirsty? It's high time for refreshments at Berghaus Pfänder.
