From the impressive cow barn and the turbulent goat madhouse with visitor gallery to the small animal cuddle zone, the herb garden, the high-tech cooling & heating technology to the cheese production, the whey cosmetics processing and the fine farm shop, the team wants to make the farm tangible for the visitors.

The cycle of nature

Whether visiting the barn or the new production and storage hall, there are always insights into the special circulation system that the Metzler family relies on: Energy is provided by a photovoltaic system on the barn and a thermal solar system with a large gravel storage tank under the floor slab of the new building. This system heats the building and the water, so that no external heat energy supply is necessary.

From the grass, the animals' feed, to the silo-free milk, to the cheese and whey from which cosmetics are made, everything is transparently processed, presented, offered for tasting and sold in one place.
 

Farm shop:

A colourful range of natural cosmetic products is available in the farm shop and online shop - from hand cream to hair and shower shampoos to lip balms. They also offer whey powder in various flavours, the basis for gentle and tasty drinks.
