City Hall (former Comital or Count's Tavern)
At the location of the present city hall the comital guesthouse/tavern was built according to plans by Martino Longhi. The combined coat of arms of Harrach and Hohenems can be seen under the south gable. The coats of arms of Waldburg-Zeil-Hohenems and Enzberg are located under the portal. In the course of time several Hohenems counts lived here: Count Kaspar, around the year 1600, Count Maximilian at the middle of the 19th century, and following him his son Clemens.
