Vineum Lake of Constance
Since July 2016, the vineum bodensee - House for Wine, Culture and History in the historic Heilig-Geist-Spital in the city of Meersburg has enriched the city's cultural offerings. The 400-year-old monument, which has been lovingly and lavishly converted into a museum, offers an interactive and sensual tour of the cultural history of wine on 600 square metres. In the entrance area of the vineum, there is an impressive wine press from 1607 - one of the largest, oldest and still functioning wine presses in Europe. In the rooms spread over two floors, you can see interesting and curious facts, interactive and historical information about Meersburg, Lake Constance, wine and culture. In addition to individual visits, many different guided tour formats can be booked, making this museum an experience for all the senses.
A selected cultural and event programme as well as a variety of special exhibitions round off the content of the vineum's portfolio.
